A Day in the Discovery Studio
Elementary, ages 7–12 — self-paced Core Skills, real-world Quests, and learners who own their education.
Discovery is where learners take the wheel. In one multi-age studio, ages 7–12 set goals, master Core Skills at their own pace, tackle Quests that end in real exhibitions, and run much of studio life themselves. Guides walk beside them, asking questions instead of giving answers — because the learners drive.
Ownership, Practiced Daily
Self-Paced, Proven Daily
No grade-level ceiling, no waiting on the class. Each learner moves through math, reading, and writing at their own level for 100 focused minutes every morning — with a Guide beside them, not a lesson plan ahead of them.
Real Responsibility
A learner runs lunch. Learners hold Town Hall, maintain studio zones, and resolve conflicts in circle. Character isn't a poster on the wall here — it's practiced daily, out loud.
Quests, Not Worksheets
Project-based challenges that run for weeks and end in public exhibitions. Learners plan, build, test, present, and defend real work — and the confidence that comes from finishing something hard is the whole point.
Outside. Every Day.
Morning and midday outdoor blocks, daily — because nine-year-olds think better after they've run. Movement and free play are on the schedule, not squeezed around it.
One Journey, Many Studios
Sage Academy is built as one continuous arc: learners begin in Spark (22 months–6 years), step into big-kid school through the Adventure Group (6–7), and grow into Discovery (7–12) — same campus, same philosophy, deeper ownership at every stage. And Discovery isn't the summit: we're building toward the studios beyond it, where the journey ends with each learner discovering their calling and launching their Next Great Adventure.
