About Makayla
Makayla Pratt joins the Sage Academy team as our Primary Studio Guide Assistant. She comes to us with experience supporting young children in both educational and therapeutic settings, including her work as a Special Education Paraprofessional and a Registered Behavior Technician.
Her calm energy and patient demeanor create a warm, grounded atmosphere where even our most sensitive learners can thrive. Whether she's leading a small group activity, offering a gentle redirection, or helping a child navigate a big feeling, Makayla does so with compassion and care.

Certified in CPR, CPI, and ABA-based behavior support

Makayla believes early childhood is about so much more than learning letters and numbers — it’s about developing confidence, social-emotional awareness, and a sense of belonging. She finds joy in hands-on activities like arts and crafts, sensory play, and cooperative games that spark imagination and build community.
